Down Tempo是由Trip Hop所引導出來的一種音樂，有人還認為它就是Trip Hop的一個分支。這種音樂
更多地體現了電子音樂和傳統音樂的結合美學。開創這種音樂的先驅其實是大家都想不到的一個人
Craig Armstrong，從某種意義上說，在傳統的交響流行樂中加入了類似Trip Hop的緩慢節拍才有了
Down Tempo的雛形。
Break beat
不像House的拍子Boom-Boom-Boom-Boom那麼規律，而是以破碎的節拍呈現，像是切分拍。如在兩拍中
加入小碎鼓，等等，Breakbeat只是一個總稱而已，有很多種音樂都屬Breakbeat，如以下的Brit-Hop、
